AIIMS Bathinda Recruitment 2025 for 80 Teaching Faculty Posts

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, has released an official notification for the direct recruitment of 80 Faculty posts (Group-A) across various medical and non-medical departments. This recruitment drive includes positions of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates with medical postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS or equivalent) or Ph.D. in relevant disciplines (for non-medical posts) and requisite teaching/research experience are invited to apply.

The online application process is open from 4th September 2025 to 24th September 2025. In addition to applying online, candidates must submit a hard copy of the application form along with supporting documents and fee payment receipt by 30th September 2025. Selection will be based on interview and document verification, and shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview schedule, expected to be conducted in the 2nd or 3rd week of October 2025.

Educational Requirement

• A medical qualification listed under Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• For candidates possessing qualifications under Part II, compliance with Section 13(3) of the Act is mandatory.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or equivalent in the concerned subject is essential.
• For non-medical posts, a Ph.D. in the relevant subject is required (as applicable).

Experience Criteria

• Professor: 14 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Additional Professor: 10 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Associate Professor: 6 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• Assistant Professor: 3 years of teaching and/or research experience.

Salary Details (7th CPC Pay Matrix)

NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) is applicable to medically qualified candidates as per norms.

Age Limit (as on 24.09.2025)

• Professor / Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years
• Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹2,360 (including 18% GST)
• SC / ST: ₹1,180 (including 18% GST)
• PwBD: Exempted
• Mode of Payment: Online (UPI / Debit / Credit / Net Banking)

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on eligibility and application scrutiny.
2. Interview of shortlisted candidates (tentatively 2nd/3rd week of October 2025).
3. Document Verification for final selection.

Step 1: Apply Online

1. Visit the official AIIMS Bathinda recruitment portal (Google Form link as mentioned in the notification).
2. Fill in all personal, academic, and experience-related details accurately.
3. Upload the following scanned documents:
   • Recent passport-size photograph
   • Signature
   • Educational qualification certificates
   • Experience certificates
   • Age proof (DOB certificate or 10th marksheet)
   • No Objection Certificate (for Govt/PSU employees)
4. Make the online payment of the application fee.

Step 2: Submit Hard Copy

1. Download and print the completed application form submitted online.
2. Enclose the following in an envelope:
   • Printed application form
   • Payment receipt
   • Self-attested copies of all uploaded documents
3. Superscribe the envelope with:
   “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________ DEPTT. OF ________________”
